Eligibility Criteria for CMA Inter Course
| Criteria | Description |
| Educational Qualification | Pass the CMA Foundation exam conducted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). (OR) Possess a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Management, or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks for students from commerce backgrounds and 60% marks for students from non-commerce backgrounds. |
| Registration | Register for the CMA Intermediate course with ICMAI. |
| Age Limit | No minimum age limit is specified. However, candidates are expected to be at least 18 years old to enter into a service contract for practical training. |
| Articleship Training (Optional) | Not mandatory to appear for the CMA Intermediate exam. However, it is required for registration as a member of the ICMAI and to be eligible for the CA Final exam. Students opting for articleship training must complete 9 months before appearing for the Intermediate exam. |
